What file formats does Kinmetry support?
You can upload PDF files, JPEG/PNG photos, and multi-page scans. Most lab reports from hospitals and clinics work well. For best results, make sure the image is clear and the text is readable.
Which languages are supported for lab reports?
Kinmetry can parse lab reports in English, Chinese (Simplified and Traditional), and other common languages. If your report is in another language and parsing fails, try the manual entry option on the upload page.
How accurate is the AI parsing?
Our AI extracts metrics with high accuracy for standard lab report formats. After uploading, you are always shown a review screen where you can correct any values, names, or units before saving. You are in control of what gets stored.
Is my health data private and secure?
Yes. Your data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. We never sell your data, share it with third parties for advertising, or use it to train AI models. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from Settings.
How do I add family members?
Go to Settings → Family Members and click "Add family member". Enter their name and relationship. Once added, you can upload reports for them from the Upload page by selecting their name in the "For" dropdown.
What is the difference between Free, Personal, and Family plans?
The Free plan allows up to 3 reports and 1 AI analysis per month. Personal unlocks unlimited reports, more AI queries, and advanced trend tracking for one person. Family extends everything to up to 6 family members plus medication tracking. See the Pricing page for full details.
How does the AI Health Assistant work?
The AI Assistant can answer questions about your lab results in plain language — what a biomarker measures, what your result means, and how it compares to the reference range. It has access to your confirmed reports and metrics. It does not provide medical diagnoses and always recommends consulting a doctor for clinical decisions.
What is a Health Summary?
A Health Summary is an AI-generated document that compiles your key metrics, trends, and abnormal values into a structured report you can share with your doctor. You can generate one from the Health Report page.
Can I edit or delete a report after confirming it?
Yes. Go to Reports, open the report, and use the Edit or Delete options. Deleting a report also removes the associated metric values from your timeline.
How do I install the Chrome extension?
Visit the Chrome Web Store and install "Kinmetry Lab Report Reader". It lets you upload reports directly from any web page, converts units between Chinese and international standards, and shows your recent metrics in a sidebar.
I uploaded a report but it is still processing. What should I do?
Large or complex PDFs can take 1–2 minutes to process. You will see a "Ready for review" banner on your Dashboard when parsing is complete. If it takes longer than 5 minutes, try uploading the file again.
How do I cancel my subscription or request a refund?
You can manage your subscription from Settings → Billing (powered by Stripe). For refunds within 7 days of purchase, email [email protected] with your order details and we will process it promptly.
