Having trouble with the Kinmetry Lab Report Reader? Browse the troubleshooting guide below or send us an email. We typically respond within 1–2 business days.
Make sure you are on a regular webpage (http:// or https://). Chrome does not allow extensions to run on chrome:// pages, the New Tab page, or the Chrome Web Store itself. Navigate to any website and try again.
Another extension may be using the same shortcut. Go to chrome://extensions/shortcuts, find "Kinmetry Lab Report Reader", and reassign the shortcut to one that does not conflict.
You need to select (highlight) some text first, then right-click. The menu item only appears when text is selected. If it still does not appear, try disabling and re-enabling the extension from chrome://extensions.
The extension currently covers 200+ common biomarkers, 70 ICD-11 codes, and 58 medical abbreviations. If your term is not found, try a shorter keyword, the English abbreviation, or the Chinese name. You can request additional terms via email.
Unit conversion is available for 18 indicators where different unit systems are commonly used (e.g. glucose, creatinine, cholesterol). Biomarkers with a single universal unit (e.g. TSH in mIU/L) do not have a converter.
No. All data is bundled inside the extension and processed entirely on your device. The extension makes zero network requests during lookup. No account is required.
Right-click the Kinmetry icon in your Chrome toolbar → "Remove from Chrome". All local data (if any) is deleted automatically.
Try disabling and re-enabling the extension at chrome://extensions, or remove and reinstall it from the Chrome Web Store. If the issue persists, please contact us with your Chrome version (chrome://settings/help).
